The Vertical Access Small Wind Turbine (VASWT) uses aerodynamic effect to rotate blades and transform wind into mechanical energy. The mechanical energy is then transformed into electric power through a generator.  The modernized wind turbine can achieve power conversion efficiency of 20 - 40%.  This turbine is virtually maintenance free with very few moving parts, and the vertical blades ensure low wind noise while guaranteeing a smooth, clean charge.

All high-quality components are used in the PV Systems offered by Wild West Wind & Solar and provide a 25-year performance warranty.

Solar PV panels are typically positioned on the rooftop or can be placed on a ground mount where allowed.  When sunlight shines on the photo cells, an electric field is created which is then converted into direct current (DC) electricity.

DC electricity cannot be used in your home, so inverters (micro or string) take the direct current and convert it into alternating current (AC) power, which is ideal for household use.

The electricity flows to your net meter, which measures whether your home is producing or consuming electricity.

If your panels are producing more energy than your home needs, you receive "credits" from your local utility company to power your home during nighttime when your panels are not producing.  From the net meter, the electricity moves to your breaker box where it then powers your lights and household appliances.

Solar PV Systems can save money, create energy independence, and provide a cleaner environment.

PV Systems range from small roof-top mounted or building-integrated systems with capacities from a few to several tens of kilowatts, to large utility-scale power stations of hundreds of megawatts.  Most PV systems are connected to the electrical grid, however, can also be designed to operate as a stand-alone or off-grid system.  PV systems operate silently and without moving parts or environmental emissions.

Customers want and expect a solar product that they can be proud to display.  With colored solar panels offered by Wild West Wind & Solar, the modules accent and blend in with architectural features such as awnings, railings, roofing systems and commercial building exteriors.  Improved aesthetics adds to curb appeal and increases your home or property's value. Colored solar panels perform just as efficiently as black panels.

Our colored solar panels are manufactured using the highest-quality, U.S.-made components designed for superior performance and durability, and offer an industry-leading, comprehensive 25-year performance warranty, in addition to a 10-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Wind energy has become a viable, lower-cost energy alternative for businesses and landowners.  Alone, or in conjunction with solar energy, sustainable energy savings can be achieved.  Wild West Wind & Solar Company offers a variety of innovative, bird-friendly, 300 watt, 750 watt and 3 kilowatt wind turbines.  5 and 10 watt turbines will be available soon.

Small wind turbines are used broadly to provide distributed power for a variety of applications, such as on- or off-grid residences that require energy where this is no electrical grid, or where the grid is unstable.  These turbines can be used to power telecommunications systems, street lighting systems, or remote monitoring systems.
